065 Jemma Has a Secret (12-14-13)
Told by Jemma.
Things with Phoenix were going really well!
But there was still the issue with Jovanna wanting to see her Daddy, and I had to face him about that. It was a while ago now… but right after Tegan’s grad ceremony I had seen him heading out of city hall.
“So do you want to meet your daughter, or what?”
Stevan: “Sure, why the hell not?”
“You don’t need to be a jerk about it. You never even called me ONCE to arrange to meet her.”
Stevan: “Any why should I?”
“Would you at least go say hi to her?”
Jovi: “Ugh. I don’t like this.”
“Do you realize she is probably hearing all this?”
Jaxen: “Hi Jemma. Is everything okay?”
“Yes Jaxen, we’re fine.”
Somewhat.
Stevan: *fake smile* “Hi Jovanna.”
Jemma: “That’s better.”
Stevan: “So, uhh, do you like cars.”
Jovanna: “I dunno.”
Stevan: “I got a wicked car. It’s a police car and it’s got flashy lights on top.”
Jovanna: “Cool.”
But my baby was really tired. And frankly, that was not a very nice first conversation to have with her daddy.
I figured there wasn’t much point in trying to have them develop a relationship. So we just left. Plus, I had a party to go to afterward.
Apparently Stevan and Flan were inseparable. People said they would see them about town all kissy-kissy. I hope for her sake he treats her well.
And hopefully he treats their baby like a real son, because I wasn’t sure if he’d ever accept Jovanna as his daughter.
I haven’t met him yet, but his name is Donte. I’m guessing he is cute though, because I admit Steve and Flan are a pretty good-looking couple.
And speaking of babies…
I’ve been throwing up a bit. Seems I’m pregnant. Shit! How could I do this to myself again!
My belly was poking out a bit but I just wore more dresses. Nobody even noticed for a long time.
Not even Mom.
“Hi Mom.”
“Well, aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend?”
“That’s not my friend, that’s just Alain.”
“Didn’t you guys date or something?”
“No, it never worked out. He was too slow – Phoenix got to me first!”
He’s married now anyway, sure. To some greenish-brown-haired chick.
“You can stop flaunting that ring now, Alain.”
“Anytime now. Really.”
I was out at Mick’s for karaoke night. Ya know, checking out the competition. This lady — she was not bad I suppose, but she could really use an image upgrade.
I didn’t realize Phoenix had come in, and he was up on stage with Alain, heckling.
Is he heckling me?
Oh God! Please don’t say he’s heckling me! Does he know I’m pregnant with his baby? Is he gonna throw a fit at me??
Dammit, I’m so stupid! So stupid I would think he was the one I would spend the rest of my life and have a family with.
I just have to go.
“Don’t worry baby, everything will be okay. You’ll have a daddy, I promise.”
“Oh hey.”
Phoenix: “Is everthing alright?”
“Y-yeah.”
“It’s chilly out. Are you cold?”
“Not anymore.”
“Good. So do you wanna hang out?”

Awww poor Jemma. 😦 I hope things turn out okay for her.
*rages* I do not like how this is starting! >.<
Poor Jovi. 😦 Stevan makes me so angry.
Oh dear, well I guess he didn't pull out all the time, lol.
He better not be heckling her, boy is going to need to be slapped upside the head. His face is really cute where he's looking all nervous though. ❤
I do love that shot of Phoenix being all nervous. Playing that part in game was kind of emotional too because I wasnt playing them, just watching their expressions and actions and imagining what they were feeling. 😦
Ugh, Stevan!! >.<
Damn guys never pull out in time..lol
Aww, Phoenix looks nervous.
Ugh Stevan is just not worth the time! Congrats on the baby to be. I’m sure Phoenix is gonna be a great dad, I need to read some anyways so I’ll find out.
